I was impressed that I got a reply the next day but was not impressed by the levet of Customer Support in the reply, this was the advice received "Please go ahead and see if you could install the ByePass component properly." and that was it! So here I am giving Iolo 1 star for customer support as there does not seem to be any any more! UPDATE: 20-10-18, STILL WAITING FOR SOME CUSTOMER SERVICE TO SORT OUT THIS PROBLEM!
I had read the problems with Customer Service people were experienced below so I emailed the "support.socialmedia" address mentioned below telling them in fine detail what I had done and what error messages I had expeienced.
All of the info I supplied was correct but it would not work. I activated 3 of the 4 modules not installing ByePass as I was not sure of it, I have just got to install the module and the Firefox extension which goes with it and everything went ok until trying to set up the main account using the Byepass icon in Firefox, and it would not accept the information. I am a long standing licence holder of System Mechanic and have upgraded to Phoenix 360, also computers have been a hobby of mine since DOS, so I know my way about a computer. Can you please resolve the problem for me? I look forward to hearing from you. If you believe you are receiving this message in error, please contact iolo Customer Care and mention Error 4." This has been the situation for the past 4 days at least. after submitting I then receive the following:- "Error 4: The activation service is temporarily unavailable. That button then blurs and "Cycles" I am then presented with Screen "Activate ByePass" into which I insert the original email used for purchase (twice) together with Activation key M7LXY-JDGUL-43JGFPY8RY. The button splits in two and the lower half is selected - "Install on Firefox". Sequence of events on installation attempts: - Click on ByePass Button on Phoenix360. ByePass is working fine on Google Chrome. However I am unable to install ByePass on the reinstalled Firefox even though I use the same email address as when it was originally ordered ans also using the same "Registration Information". Because of certain difficulties I encountered, it became necessary for me to uninstall & reinstall Mozilla Thunderbird. The emal (customercare) for product support does not work.It is unreasonable to expect customers in Europe (ireland) to phone USA to obtain Product support. However since installing Phoenix 36o, I have come to the conclusion that iolo product technical support is non existent.
